Celebrating Achievements – Past and Future

Dear Friends,

The year 2017 came and went in the blink of an eye and we now find ourselves facing the end, and the beginning. Natural disasters, political shifts, and economic restructuring; each played a role in this year’s story. College graduations, educational advancement, new job in Haiti, and our 10th Anniversary Awards Celebration; shed extra positive light on shared priorities.

Sustainable economic rebuilding is a collaborative affair that we as global citizens must continue to influence, and DO. The power to change our future is in the will to educate our youth. January 1st, in addition to being New Year’s Day, is Independence Day for Haiti. Education is the foundation from which economies and communities grow, and sustain. Sustainability is the ultimate freedom and a catalyst for a new year of achievements, of historic proportions.

As we end this year and head into 2018, we gift you with servings of Soup Joumou and highlights of this past year. We invite you to include Le Flambeau Foundation in your year-end tax-deductible donations.  Together, we applaud the extraordinary achievements of the past and look forward to the successes in our interconnected future.  The year 2018 will be extraordinary!

Warmest Wishes,

Le Flambeau Foundation Inc.
